Selective Blur — Paint Blur Over Any Part of Image
Move your mouse over the area you want to blur — like using an eraser in Paint. Hide faces, plates, addresses, or any sensitive detail. 100% private.
How to Use the Selective Blur Tool
The selective blur tool lets you paint blur over any specific part of an image by moving your mouse cursor — exactly like using the eraser in Microsoft Paint, but for blurring. This is the most precise way to hide sensitive information in photos.

When to use selective blur
Selective blur is essential when sharing photos that contain personally identifiable information. Before posting photos of your home, blur the house number and street signs. Before sharing screenshots, blur email addresses, usernames, and any private data. For journalists and researchers, black bar redaction is the standard for protecting sources in photographs.
